Every year the camping season begins on May 15th and runs until October 15th. We open the park for seasonal guests on May 1st.
If you do not own a trailer but would like to begin camping seasonally, we often have trailers for sale. These typically include the seasonal fees and come with decks and sheds already set up.
Smoking at Skycroft is only permitted on your own site.
All trailers coming into the park must be under 20 years of age. Once the trailer has turned 20 years old, it loses the option to be sold on our property with the site.
Seasonal campers do not have an automatic right to sell their trailer on-site, regardless of whether the trailer is under 20 years old. All proposed sales must comply with Skycroft’s strict guidelines and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Skycroft reserves the sole discretion to approve or deny any proposed sale.
Buyout Clause
Skycroft has a buyout clause designed to protect prospective buyers during periods when seasonal sites are in short supply.
This clause helps prevent sellers from using the site shortage to inflate a trailer’s asking price beyond its fair market value. If a trailer is priced unreasonably high, a buyer may choose not to purchase the trailer and exercise the option to buy out the existing seasonal-site agreement instead.
A buyout fee applies in addition to the regular seasonal-site fees. Ultimately, this policy helps ensure that trailers are priced fairly and that buyers are not taken advantage of simply because seasonal sites are difficult to obtain.

Seasonal rates include two adults. Unlike other parks, Skycroft does not charge for water or hydro use. Charging for additional family members or guests (who are likely to use more) helps keep things fair between our seasonal guests.
Seasonal camping rates allow one trailer and two specified guests for part-time use. Part-time use is considered less than 50% utilization of the campsite for the season. The site is exclusively yours, and the trailer remains on the site for the season.
Since services are included, full-time rates are applied only to those who abuse the system — for example, constantly leaving the A/C running while away from the campground.
Skycroft’s waitlist is for the first site available. Site preferences are categorized by services and location, not specific sites. Current seasonal guests have first rights to move to a new site within the park.
To be added to the waiting list, Skycroft requires a fully refundable deposit of $1000. This policy ensures sincerity in wanting to join our park and helps keep the waitlist manageable.
